SEBO AIRBELT D Quick Start Guide
Share
Getting your new SEBO AIRBELT D up and running takes just a few minutes. Here's what to do out of the box, whether you have the D1 Turbo or the D4 Premium.
1. Unpack and assemble
- Push the hose neck into the suction opening on the canister until all four notches line up and it snaps into place.
- Connect the handle grip to the top of the telescopic tube until it snaps in.
- Attach your power head, nozzle, or brush to the bottom of the telescopic tube until it locks into place.
To release any part, press its release button and pull it off.
2. Before you plug in
- Pull the power cord out at least two-thirds of its length (about 25 feet) from the cord reel. Don't over-extend it.
- Grip the hose handle, then plug the polarized cord into a 120V outlet near the floor.
3. Power on
D4 Premium: Press the on/off knob on the base of the canister with your foot or hand. The blue LED ring lights up and speeds up as suction increases. Use the (+) and (-) suction buttons on the handle to adjust suction, and the brush roller switch on the handle to turn the power head's brush on or off for hard floors.
D1 Turbo: Press the on/off knob on the canister to start. This same knob rotates to adjust suction: clockwise for more, counter-clockwise for less (handy for curtains and delicate fabrics).
4. Adjust the telescopic tube
Push the slide button and pull to lengthen, or push in to shorten, then release the button to lock the tube at the height you want.
5. Watch the bag/clog indicator
If the indicator by the top window turns orange, the bag is full, there's a clog, or the filter is too dirty. Turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and replace the bag or clear the clog right away. Ignoring it will cause the motor to shut off automatically to protect itself.
6. When you're done
- Switch off and unplug the vacuum.
- Press the push-button cord rewinder and hold it until the cord fully retracts, keeping hold of the plug so it doesn't whip around.
- Store the canister horizontally or vertically; brushes and nozzles have parking tabs that slide into the parking grooves for easy storage.
Quick maintenance reminders
- Always unplug the vacuum before changing bags, filters, or clearing clogs.
- Don't reuse filter bags, and don't wash and reuse filters.
- Never run the vacuum without its filters, bag, AIRBELT textile, or filter bag cover in place.
